Wander Necklace in Freshwater Pearls

Regular price $128.00

Creamy freshwater pearls, hand knotted one by one onto warm brown cord, for the days you move through the world knowing exactly who you are.

This lariat is for the woman who has earned her ease. The one who no longer needs to explain herself, justify her choices, or rush toward anything. She simply shows up, ties her necklace, and goes.

Tie it at the front, let the tails fall softly, and go. No clasp required for this style. Adjust the lariat to your mood. It sits beautifully at the neckline without fuss.

Pearls are not mined. They're grown, slowly, from the inside out. A single grain of sand becomes something worth keeping through patience, time, and quiet persistence. Every pearl in this necklace carries that story.

And so do you.

This necklace makes a meaningful gift for a woman you admire or a worthy gift to yourself. No occasion required. Love is reason enough.

FAQ

What is vitreous enamel?

Vitreous enamel is an ancient art form that sits right at the intersection of science and beauty, which is probably why I fell in love with it.

The process begins with copper sheet metal, carefully cut into shapes by hand. Finely powdered glass in a range of colors is then applied to the metal in layers and fired in a kiln at 1,450 degrees Fahrenheit. Each layer fuses to the one before it, building depth, richness, and color that simply cannot be replicated any other way.

From the first cut of metal to the finished piece, the process involves 20 or more individual steps. There are no shortcuts to that kind of beauty.

Occasionally I source pre-cut copper shapes rather than sawing them myself, but every step from that point forward is done entirely by hand in my studio.

The result is jewelry that is not just worn. It is carried. Each piece holds layers of intention, craft, and heat-forged color that will last a lifetime.

What is Fine Silver?

Fine silver is a form of silver that is 99.9% silver. It doesn't tarnish as fast as sterling silver.

What is Sterling Silver?

Sterling silver is a metal alloy containing 92.5% silver. The remaining portion is usually copper which makes it more stable but also makes it tarnish faster than fine silver.
