Wander Necklace in Pearl, Apatite, and Sodalite

Regular price $128.00

Faceted apatite, deep sodalite, and creamy freshwater pearls, hand knotted one by one, for the days you simply show up and let things unfold.

This lariat is for the woman who’s learned that the best moments rarely announce themselves. The morning that stretches into afternoon. The walk that leads somewhere unexpected. The day that quietly hands you something good, if you're paying attention.

Tie it, adjust it to your mood, no clasp required for this style. The lariat ties at the front with a soft, adjustable drape that sits beautifully at the neckline.

Apatite is bright and energizing, a stone long associated with clarity and forward motion. Sodalite is its quiet counterpart, calm and grounding, known for bringing inner peace to a busy mind. Freshwater pearls carry their own quiet wisdom, born of patience and time.

Together, they are gentle reminder to stay present for whatever the day brings.

This necklace makes a meaningful gift for a friend or a worthy gift to yourself. No occasion needed. Love is reason enough.

FAQ

What is vitreous enamel?

Vitreous enamel is an ancient art form that sits right at the intersection of science and beauty, which is probably why I fell in love with it.

The process begins with copper sheet metal, carefully cut into shapes by hand. Finely powdered glass in a range of colors is then applied to the metal in layers and fired in a kiln at 1,450 degrees Fahrenheit. Each layer fuses to the one before it, building depth, richness, and color that simply cannot be replicated any other way.

From the first cut of metal to the finished piece, the process involves 20 or more individual steps. There are no shortcuts to that kind of beauty.

Occasionally I source pre-cut copper shapes rather than sawing them myself, but every step from that point forward is done entirely by hand in my studio.

The result is jewelry that is not just worn. It is carried. Each piece holds layers of intention, craft, and heat-forged color that will last a lifetime.

What is Fine Silver?

Fine silver is a form of silver that is 99.9% silver. It doesn't tarnish as fast as sterling silver.

What is Sterling Silver?

Sterling silver is a metal alloy containing 92.5% silver. The remaining portion is usually copper which makes it more stable but also makes it tarnish faster than fine silver.
