Eclipse Earrings

Regular price $75.00

The earrings that make the black dress.

You know that feeling when you put on the perfect earring and everything just clicks? That is this earring.

A high-gloss black enamel disc, smooth and deep as a night sky. Then, cutting across it at an angle, a sweep of textured 24k gold foil that catches every flicker of candlelight in the room. Quiet confidence and quiet drama, all at once.

Whether it is a dinner out, a holiday gathering, or simply a night when you want to feel like yourself at your most polished, these earrings do the work without asking anything of you. Lightweight enough to wear all evening. Beautiful enough to be the thing people notice first.

You deserve an earring that rises to the occasion.

Handcrafted with gratitude. Worn with intention.

  • Materials: vitreous enamel oncopper, 14k gold fill ear wires, 24k gold foil
  • Approximately 3/4” in diameter
  • Lightweight, comfortable all day or evening wear

The gold foil in these earrings is applied by hand, one piece at a time. No two pairs are exactly alike. That diagonal sweep of gold is intentional, and it is also a little unpredictable, just like the best nights out.

FAQ

What is vitreous enamel?

Vitreous enamel is an ancient art form that sits right at the intersection of science and beauty, which is probably why I fell in love with it.

The process begins with copper sheet metal, carefully cut into shapes by hand. Finely powdered glass in a range of colors is then applied to the metal in layers and fired in a kiln at 1,450 degrees Fahrenheit. Each layer fuses to the one before it, building depth, richness, and color that simply cannot be replicated any other way.

From the first cut of metal to the finished piece, the process involves 20 or more individual steps. There are no shortcuts to that kind of beauty.

Occasionally I source pre-cut copper shapes rather than sawing them myself, but every step from that point forward is done entirely by hand in my studio.

The result is jewelry that is not just worn. It is carried. Each piece holds layers of intention, craft, and heat-forged color that will last a lifetime.

What is Fine Silver?

Fine silver is a form of silver that is 99.9% silver. It doesn't tarnish as fast as sterling silver.

What is Sterling Silver?

Sterling silver is a metal alloy containing 92.5% silver. The remaining portion is usually copper which makes it more stable but also makes it tarnish faster than fine silver.
